About Nordic Culture Forum

Nordic Culture Forum creates professional programmes, meetings and activities primarily across the Nordic region, merging knowledge, experience and perspective through actual examples.

Understanding the drivers of quality and results requires you to have access to the processes behind them.

That is why we bring together professionals, decision-makers and key practitioners from across the Nordic region to participate in curated programmes in selected settings and gain insight into how solutions work and create value.

Nordic Culture Forum is not a traditional conference event or digital knowledge bank. It is a series of programmes that foster insight by means of professional visits to Nordic settings, interactive discussions and genuine learning from actual examples.

Nordic Culture Forum aims to strengthen Nordic cooperation and establish a flexible, long-term framework for Nordic knowledge-sharing – by providing activities that are both professionally robust and applicable in practice.

What Nordic Culture Forum has to offer

Each forum is structured around an explicitly defined theme such as art and culture, or in related fields such as children and young people, learning, healthy working environments or other areas of societal importance – but, crucially, drawing on lessons learnt in the Nordic region.

In these forums, you will meet the people and experience the contexts in which results have already been achieved through ongoing development and gain experience that you can apply within your own organisation.

All NCF programmes share a common feature: they are based on what actually works. Therefore, they primarily focus on interacting with practitioners, leaders, experts and decision-makers, observing actual cases and experiencing the settings in which development is taking place.

Presentations, conversations and reflections are combined with on-site visits and shared activities. This combination generates profound insight by enabling participants to experience the broader context in which these lessons have been learned, which is otherwise unattainable solely through abstract study.

Nordic Culture Forum's primary target group

The essential aim of Nordic Culture Forum is to enable professionals to establish networks across the Nordic region. This process encourages the emergence of a professional community which transcends countries and disciplines, sharpens one's perspective and paves the way to further collaboration.

By participating in these events, organisations, institutions and public-sector bodies are making an investment in staff, who return home with a refreshed knowledge base, tangible examples and stronger bonds across the Nordic region. This directly improves decision-making and dynamic development within their own organisation.
